Celldweller es un grupo de Detroit, Estados Unidos. Fundado por Klayton (antiguo compositor y miembro de la banda Circle of Dust en los años 1990) con una fusión de drum & bass y techno, además con sonidos de rap y metal, lo que le daria a la banda un estilo Nu Metal Industrial, que se distingue por su música basada en instrumentos electrónicos, sonidos orgánicos y fuertes cambios del estado de ánimo que representan su música.

Formed in Rome, Italy, in early 2005 by the two core members Cristiano Carosi (vcls+gtr) and Paola Mattaroccia (bs, vcls), joined in 2006 by guitarist Paolo Miceli (formerly My Violent Ego) and drummer Carlos Valderrama (Fitness Forever, The Goonies, Valderrama 5), - Sea Dweller focus on a balance of shoegaze and psychedelic music, an ethereal guitar driven noise pop and loud climax crescendo.
After touring in Italy with Asobi Seksu, The Victorian English Gentlemens Club, - in January 2008 Sea Dweller released through Carosi's own record label UpsideDown rec, Underwater Town EP (edition limited to 100 copies).

Dwellers features Iota (Small Stone Records) song writer/guitarist/vocalist Joey Toscano, and Subrosa (Profound Lore) drummer and bassist Zach Hatsis and Dave Jones. The band originally started as a duo between Hatsis and Toscano, who self-released a 3 song EP in 2009. A year later, they added Jones on bass, and began writing and performing material for a full length LP.
