The Pancakes es el proyecto musical de una chica de Hong Kong llamada Dejay. Tras pasar por grupos como The Postcard, Ginger Biscuits y Tricycle Riders, Dejay decidió comenzar un proyecto en solitario, editando en enero del 2000 su primer álbum, “Les bonbons sont bons”, del que llegó a vender más de 8000 copias en Hong Kong. El disco salió en su propio sello Rewind Records. Dejay también es la principal artífice del fanzine “Sofa”. Fresh Blueberry Pancake is a typical post-Cream power trio, from Pittsburgh, PA. Active from 1968 to 1972, the group did not release any album, but a set of demos was recorded in 1970 and pressed in 54 copies for promotional use. The sound quality is pretty good considering the group probably invested little money in studio time, which makes one think that Shadoks had access to the master tapes.
