A 3 piece band from Adelaide, Australia. Forming in 2012. After only a few weeks of playing & writing, Lipps started recording demo tracks in their guitarists bedroom & plan to release an EP from the same resource. With two of the members already playing in an established post-hardcore band, Lipps takes influence from all aspects of music current and generations past. Formado en 1979 en Minneapolis, MN, el grupo de funk Lipps Inc. fue un proyecto del productor y multi-instrumentista Steven Greenberg. Tras lograr un contrato de grabación con la discográfica Casablanca, lanzó el sencillo “Rock It”, el cual fue un éxito local, y luego se dedicó a crear un álbum completo, contratando a la vocalista Cynthia Johnson.
