David Banner (nacido como Levell Crump en Jackson, Misisipi) es un rapero y productor americano. Antes de comenzar su carrera en solitario, Banner formó parte del dúo de rap Crooked Lettaz, y en 1999 debutaron con el álbum Grey Skies. Al año siguiente grabaría su primer álbum en solitario, Them Firewater Boyz, Vol. 1. El disco vendió más de 10.000 copias en su ciudad natal, a pesar del poco apoyo que recibió de la compañía discográfica. Su segundo álbum, Mississippi: The Album, fue oro y recibió buenas críticas comerciales, en gran parte a causa del primer single, "Like A Pimp"....

Jean-Guillaume Cabanne es uno de los precursores de la escena minimal techno en Francia. Este amante del jazz que ya pasa de la treintena ha colaborado a lo largo de su carrera con un buen número de sellos y artistas. Estuvo cinco años como guitarrista en la banda Flag y sería su encuentro con John Thomas lo que le cambiase el chip hacia la electrónica. Esa relación fue muy fructífera ya que dio como resultado una larga colaboración entre los dos artistas. John Thomas le abriría las puertas de su sello, Logistic, donde publicaría sus dos primeros EPs en 1997....

Bannerman is the bastard son of Auckland, NZ - based musician Richard Setford, who's previous love child was the soul funk collective, One Million Dollars. Conceived and recorded in the basement bedroom of a Western Springs flat. Richie began work on Bannerman in 2005, but with the continued march of One Million Dollars and the sudden appearance of smooth latin cousin, Batucada Sound Machine, he was forced to lock his young offspring away in a cupboard for a few years. www.myspace.com/nzbannerman .
