The Skeletonz is a french metal/hardcore band from the Paris area. Created in 1999 by Jean-Louis Demouron (vocals, also of Culture Lutte) and Franck Pelliccioli (guitar, also of Saigon Blue Rain), the band made two demo recordings, Drop The Snake (2000) and Desert Storm (2001). The line-up stabilized in 2002 with the arrival of PYC (drums, ex-Slavery & Petrified) and François Dorléans (bass & backing vocals, Mondegreen,ex-Naphta). The album Absinth for the Monkey was finally released in March 2008 after several false starts. The Outsider followed in 2010.
François switched to rythm guitar in 2011 while the bass slot was filled by Quentin Guibert (now a member of Kause 4 Konflikt). In late 2012, François and PYC left right after the recording of The True EP. They were replaced by Sylvain Bouascha (guitar, ex-Cosmic Trip Avengers & Les Gens du Fond) and Manpo (drums, also of Culture Lutte). This line-up released the EP The New Flesh in september 2013.
Franck left in 2014 in order to focus on his goth/new wave project Saigon Blue Rain with his wife, singer Ophélie Lecomte.
