Officer Down formed in February 2005 following the split of all other previous bands!! Locked in a room for an entire year the then line-up Gammon - Vocals/Guitars, Will - Vocals/Drums, Alistair - Guitars/Vocals and Loz - Bass/Vocals wrote a whole set which was to later be the first album 'Led By Lies....', This was recorded / released in late 2006 by EHC Records. After playing a few gigs a mini tour of Ireland with The Lobotomies was set up, this would see the departure of Loz (Bass). A Replacement was quickly found in Shay - Vocals/Bass (EHC Records/The Cunts) to step in and the tour was completed successfully. The line-up was now stronger than ever and in full throttle!! The new line-up took a trip to The Waiting Room Studios in Worcester and recorded 3 new tracks with producer Jim Turner, 'Time To Break Your Fall' from this CD was played numerous times on Mike Davies' Radio 1 Punk Show. October 2007 saw us in the studio again, this time to record tracks for a compilation CD on Skwert (Choking Victim / INDK) record label Tent City Records (USA). In 2008 after completing a UK Tour in January, A Tour of Belgium, Holland & Luxembourg in March and in between playing most weekends including City Invasion and the Rebellion festival in blackpool, with bands such as Agnostic Front and US Bombs to name a few we have become a much stronger band! later in the year we were blessed with the oppertunity to support "as friends rust" and one of our strongest influences "strike anywhere", this lead to a series of great shows through the rest of '08 2009 was another good year with lots of awesome shows including another great set at rebellion festival and some great shows with leftover crack and many others. 2010 is underway and officer down has a busy year ahead with the launch of the "what it takes" ep on itunes, the launch of the 7" split vinyl release with the infested, and closely followed by the launch of the long awaited album!!!! After the release of the 'What It Takes' EP saw the depature of Drummer Will, who was quickly replaced by Alex Harley - Drums joined the band in this time we released our 2nd album 'Thrown To The Water' and toured europe to promote the release. In 2012 we took a year out and now in 2013 we introduce Niall Jones - Drumswho will now sit behing the drums. We are currently writing a new ep and looking for shows so hit us up.

#2 - Canada

Officer Down were also an acoustic punk/oi band from Huntsville, Ontario, Canada. They formed as a full four-piece band in 2002, but became a two-piece acoustic band in 2004 and have only ever recorded a 6-song demo entitled "The Breakfast of Champions" as a two-piece that year. They consisted of Awesome Gorgeous (now of Bad Catholic Schoolgirls) on guitar and vocals, and Kailan Fish on lead vocals- on their recording. Previous to this, they went through many line-up changes; cycling through 2 drummers and 3 guitarists in just a 2 year period. Singer/bassist/later-guitarist Awesome Gorgeous was the only member to remain in this band since it's inception. It should be noted that at several of their live performances, the band would arrive and not play a set or only play a few songs as some or all of the members would be too intoxicated.

3. OFFICER DOWN (Rijeka, Croatia)

ska punk rock band from Rijeka, Croatia.

OFFICER DOWN je relativno novi riječki bend nastao 2006. godine kada se zbog zajedničkih interesa i ljubavi prema ska glazbi spajaju bend Skanoi! i jedan no name sastav. Officeri trenutno broje 9 članova što bi značilo da uz standardnu postavu imaju i brass sekciju koju čine violina, truba , tenor i alt sax što pridonosi odličnoj punoći njihovog zvuka.

Njihovu glazbu najlakše je opisati kao dinamičnu mješavinu ska/punk/reggae ritmova, ali bend se ne libi zalaziti i u različite druge pravce eksperimentirajući sa svojim zvukom i tražeći svoj originalni zvuk. Višečlana brass sekcija donosi u ovaj bend fantastičnu zvukovnu sliku koja teži stvaranju odlične atmosfere i tipične ska veselice.

5. The fifth, and most important Officer Down was a late 90's hardcore band from Cananda. They released a split with Puritan in 1997, followed by the full length Subversive Paradigm in 1998. .
