Forsaken ist eine Epic Doom-Metal-Band aus Malta. Sie bewegt sich stilistisch zwischen Black Sabbath und Candlemass und gründete sich im September 1990 zunächst unter dem Namen Blind Alley, den sie allerdings sehr bald nach dem Einstieg ihres Bassisten Albert Bell im Juli 1991 in Forsaken umänderten. Geschichte Kurz nach ihrem ersten Konzert im September 1991 nahm man mit Requiem ein erstes Demo auf, dem im Juli 1992 eine 7" EP mit dem Titel Virtues of Sanctity auf Arkham Records folgte. Forsaken World was born in August 2010. « Flyshredd » and « Dyp » met each other at the MAI (Music Academy International), tastes and passion (and humor!) of the two comrades makes them more closer, and each appreciates the work of the other, so a collaboration was required … The Music breathes Nordic Melodic Death Metal influences with his catchy melodies, but also a lot of sharped riffs that are borrowed of the Metalcore/Deathcore scene and his devastating rhythms. David Forsaken started playing records around 1998 in his hometown of Tucson, Arizona. In 2000, he started making his own music. That is also when he adopted the "Forsaken is Dead" alias. David Forsaken spent the next few years developing his own style and finally in 2005 he saw his first vinyl release on Meta4. .

Chicago’s Enforsaken were formed in early 1998, and split up on 6/30/2006. Influences range from Melodic Death/Black Metal, Traditional 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and present day Heavy Metal/Thrash, Progressive Rock, Classical and Jazz. However, the band’s primary sound does lean strongly towards the more extreme side of this musical spectrum. At the same time, the band will rarely focus on just one genre within each song.
