The Gloworms | de

The Gloworms are Jon Brenner (piano accordion), Colin Cotter (banjo, stompbox), Laurel Swift (fiddle, voice, clogs). Formed in London in 2001 as an English Ceilidh http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_Ceilidh#English_ceilidh band, they have appeared at many festivals and dance clubs in the UK and mainland Europe, including WOMAD and the South Bank Folk Festival in the UK. They play a mixture of traditional English dance tunes, together with tunes written by the band and other contemporary folk musicians; the tunes are arranged into sets which are built around the aim of producing music for English ceilidh dancing.
