Subhumans (England) Die Subhumans sind eine englische Punkband aus Warminster in Wiltshire. Sie besteht aus Dick (Gesang), Bruce (Gitarre), Phil (Bass) und Trotsky (Schlagzeug). Die Subhumans wurden Anfang der 80er Jahre schnell in der englischen Punk-Szene als eine unabhängige Band mit DIY-Einstellung bekannt, die im Gegensatz zu den kommerziell erfolgreichen Sex Pistols oder The Clash eher im Untergrund bekannt waren wie zum Beispiel auch Crass. Nach 262 Konzerten weltweit trennten sie sich 1986 und drei der Mitglieder (Dick, Phil und Trotsky) gründeten die heute noch aktive "Nachfolge"-Band Citizen Fish. 1998 fand die Band wieder zusammen, jedoch nicht um Platten zu...

The Subhumans sprang from the moist and foetid undergrowth of the British Columbian rain forest in the spring of 1978, and were soon a vital part of the wild, raucous, and tempestuous Vancouver punk scene. Often political with a satiric edge, in 1980 the band recorded its debut album, "Incorrect Thoughts" for another small Vancouver label and toured through much of the U.S. and Canada, gigging with such bands as Black Flag, Husker Du, Minor Threat, the Dead Kennedys, X and Bad Brains.
