The band currently consists of Adam Taylor (vocals, guitar), Louise Mason (vocals, bass), Heddwyn Davies (viola, mandolin) and James Griffiths (drums). The band has released three albums, "The Victorian English Gentlemens Club" (2006), "Love on an Oil Rig" (2009), and "Bag of Meat" (2011).

Anchorage wurde 1993 gegründet durch Kai-Uwe Skerra, Kai-Uwe Saffran, Heiko Nitsche, Michael Liebetreu und Angela Grahl. Die Band galt zu jener Zeit als aufstrebende newcomer am Himmel der heavenly voices.
