Serge Gainsbourg (* 2. April 1928 in Paris; † 2. März 1991 in Paris; eigentlich Lucien Ginsburg) war ein französischer Chansonnier, Filmschauspieler, Komponist und Schriftsteller und gilt in Frankreich als einer der einflussreichsten und kreativsten Singer-Songwriter seiner Epoche.
Gainsbourg beeinflusste maßgeblich die französische Popmusik, aber auch Kino und Literatur. Er schrieb die Drehbücher und die Filmmusik für mehr als vierzig Filme. Er trat in der Öffentlichkeit häufig provokativ auf und pflegte das Bild des genialen Künstlers.

Serge Lama (* 11. Februar 1943 in Bordeaux, Frankreich; eigentlich Serge Chauvier) ist ein französischer Chanson-Sänger und -Songschreiber. Seinen ersten großen Hit in den französischen Charts hatte er bereits 1968 mit "D'aventure en aventure" (aus dem gleichnamigen Debüt-Album). Sein mit Abstand größter Erfolg ist das Lied "Je suis malade" (1974), das es bis auf Platz eins brachte und auch in der Version von Dalida ein großer Erfolg war.
