Slayer (engl. ‚Mörder‘ oder ‚Schlächter‘) ist eine Thrash-Metal-Band aus Huntington Park, Kalifornien. Sie zählt zu den einflussreichsten Metal-Bands der Welt und bildet zusammen mit Metallica, Megadeth und Anthrax die „The Big Four“ of Thrash Metal.
