Since 1995, the German band STIGMATIZED has been celebrating death/ thrash metal. Starting initially as what could be considered a typical thrash band Stigmatized, over time, evolved to include more death metal elements. Between the years 1996 and 2003, the band enjoyed numerous bookings playing gigs at a variety of venues across Germany, during which the band line up changed a number of times. The Mabels began in 1996 as a folkie trio from Lismore, New South Wales, before relocating to the tight-knit indie scene surrounding Melbourne's Candle Records. Original members Anthony Atkinson (vocals/guitar), Kim Parker (bass/piano accordion/vocals) and Warwick Lobb (guitar/trumpet/vocals), experimented with a couple of drummers before meeting David Kneale late in 1996.
