Die David Crowder Band ist eine christliche Rockband aus Waco, Texas (SA). Crowder begann 1995 als Anbetungsleiter der University Baptist Church. Er realisierte, dass selbst auf dem Baptistencollege kaum ein Student etwas mit Kirche und deren Kultur zu tun haben wollte. Seither macht er Musik für die Kirchenfremden und ist zur festen Größe der "Passion"-Bewegung avanciert. Crowders letztes Album ließ auch außerhalb der christlichen Musikszene aufhorchen und machte ihn im vergangenen Jahr zum "MSN Artist of the Year". .
