Matchbox ist eine britische Teddyboy-Rock-Band, die 1971 gegründet wurde. Sie gelten neben den Stray Cats (New Rockabilly) als die Väter des Rock'n'Roll-Revivals Mitte/Ende der 70er Jahre. Neben Rock'n'Roll bezog die Band immer wieder pop-orientiertes Songmaterial in ihr Repertoire mit ein. In den achtziger Jahren gelangen der Gruppe fünf Top 20 Hits, u.a. "Rockabilly Rebel" (1979), „Midnite Dynamos“ (1980) und „Over The Rainbow“ (adaptierter Musicalsong, 1980). Ihre letzte Single „I Want Out“ (1983) vom Album Crossed Line wurde zusammen mit Kirsty MacColl produziert. Cage the Elephant ist eine US-amerikanische Band aus Bowling Green, Kentucky. Am Anfang der Band standen die Brüder Matt und Brad Shultz und Jared Champion, die sich schon von der Schule kannten. Später kamen Gitarrist Parish und Bassist Tichenor dazu.
