There's a born-in-Japan-but-based-in-Orange County fellow named Yoodoo Park, and when he's not being that guy, he's being GRMLN, a fuzzpunkpopgrungeguitar act that specializes in updating that early 90s indierock sound for the cool kids of today (think Superchunk, Nada Surf, Seam or ). GRMLN kicked things off with an EP titled Explore in 2012. In 2013 it upped the ante with Empire. Here GRMLN is on the Facebook. And whoa, here it is, all Tumblring and sh*t. Hot damn. .
