Coming from the unexpected musically prolific small city of Barcelos, Black Bombaim are three guys that grew up together exchanging records, amidst bucolic landscapes of portuguese countryside and excessive drug experiences, playing outer-space jams, from planets yet to be discovered. Taking Sleep’s Dopesmoker as a reference, today’s Black Bombaim are more than just heavy drugs. drawing at the San Francisco Art Institute. After moving to New York, she formed the soft-metal group,Metallic Falcons, with Sierra Casady. Following their 2006 release, Desert Doughnuts (Voodoo Eros), Baim moved to Los Angeles. Here she wrote and recorded music for her first solo record, Death of the Sun (DiCristina/ Revolver USA). Baim soon returned to New York and began writing the album, Laughing Boy. Recorded on the south side of Chicago, it was released in April 2009 (DiCristina/ Revolver USA).
