Nightwish ist eine Symphonic Metal-Band aus der finnischen Stadt Kitee. Die Band um den Keyboarder Tuomas Holopainen ist eine der erfolgreichsten Metalbands Finnlands, und galt mit der ausgebildeten Sopranistin Tarja Turunen als stilprägend für ihr Genre.
