Carpathian Forest ist eine Black-Metal-Band aus Sandnes, Norwegen. Biographie „Carpathian Forest“ wurde 1990 von „Lord Nosferatu“ und „Lord Karnstein“ (beziehungsweise Roger „Nattefrost“ Rasmussen und Johnny „Nordavind“ Krøvel) gegründet. Ihre Demo „Bloodlust and Perversion“ gilt als legendär. Nachdem sie 1993 eine weitere Demo names „Journey Through the Cold Moors of Svarttjern“ veröffentlichten, erlangten sie einen Plattenvertrag. Druadan Forest is a project of Kalma aka v-KhaoZ aka VRTX (Ville Pallonen), former drummer of the finnish black metal band Azaghal. It plays ambient/black metal inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien work, in a way similar to Summoning and Valar. The band has released three demos between '98 and '99 and then disappeared together with Kalma himself after his departure from Azaghal. .
