Sasha AKA DJ Sasha Was (born Alexander Coe on 4 September 1969), is a Welsh DJ and record producer. Sasha began his career playing acid house dance music in the late 1980s, and became a central figure in the development and popularisation of electronic dance music. He partnered with fellow DJ John Digweed in 1993, touring internationally and producing a series of mixes (compilations of other artists work played in a continuous fashion). By far one of the most successful and well-known DJ teams of all time, Sasha and John Digweed met in the early 1990's while the two were playing venues like Shelly's and Heaven, and soon went on to a famous residency together at Renaissance. This was where their popularity exploded, and the "Renaissance sound" was captured on their much beloved "Renaissance: The Mix Collection" 3 CD set. Since then, they have released three parts in the "Northern Exposure" series of mixes and most recently toured worldwide as part of the "Delta Heavy" music and multimedia show. .

Sasha Son (28. September 1983 in Vilnius, Litauen als Dima Šavrovas) ist ein russisch-litauischer Sänger. Sasha wurde in Litauen im Alter von 10 Jahren mit dem Lied „Mama“ bekannt (Auszeichnung Bravo muzikiniai apdovanojimai). Mit 15 reiste er nach Großbritannien und lernte dort weiter, wo er auch eine Musikausbildung bekam. Von 2008 bis 2009 nahm Sasha an der Musikreality-Show Muzikos akademija teil und belegte den 3. Platz. 2009 vertrat er mit seinem Lied „Love“ sein Heimatland beim Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moskau. Dort belegte er beim Sieg des Norwegers Alexander Rybak einen 23. Platz. .
