Marsha Ambrosius (* 8. August 1977 in Liverpool) ist eine englische R&B-Sängerin und Songwriterin. Biografie Bekannt wurde Marsha Ambrosius als eine Hälfte der R&B-Band Floetry. Nach drei in den USA sehr erfolgreichen Alben trennte sich das Duo und Ambrosius begann eine Solokarriere. Sie unterschrieb beim Label Aftermath von Dr. Dre, es kam jedoch zu keiner Veröffentlichung und so trennte man sich 2009 wieder. Die Sängerin arbeitete mit anderen Künstlern wie Alicia Keys, Mario und Wale zusammen, bevor sie bei J Records unterschrieb. Ambrosia sind eine US-amerikanische Art-Rock-Gruppe aus Los Angeles. Die Gruppe wurde 1971 als Teil des All-American Dream Concert von Zubin Mehta verpflichtet; ihren ersten Plattenvertrag erhielt das Quartett jedoch erst vier Jahre später. Der erste Longplayer enthielt zwei Hits, u.a. auch eine Kurt Vonnegut-Vertonung. 1977 spielten sie im Film All This and World War II, wozu sie auch mit ihrer Version der Magical Mystery Tour musikalisch beitrugen. 1978 veröffentlichte die zum Trio geschrumpfte Gruppe "How much I feel", der auf Platz 3 der Charts kletterte, was sie 1980 mit "Biggest Part of me" wiederholen konnten. .

The Cavalo Marinho is a variant of Bumba-Meu-Boi, a mixture of drama, music and dance. Mestre Ambrósio, or His Ambrose, or, Ambrose, is credited with introducing the various characters that appear in the game. It is therefore a symbol of diversity.
