Sexy Zone is a five-member Japanese boy band managed by Johnny & Associates.
Sexy Zone was announced as a group in a press conference in September 29, 2011. Johnny & Associates's CEO Johnny Kitagawa said, "The group name came from Michael Jackson's sexiness". The members were revealed to be Kento Nakajima, Fuma Kikuchi, Shori Sato, Sou Matsushima], and Marius Yo. Kitagawa chose the members considering the "sexiness of men".

Big Sexy Noise was formed 2009 by Lydia Lunch. The group features Ian White on drums, James Johnston on guitars, Lydia Lunch on vocals and Terry Edwards on organ, saxophone and guitar. Johnston and Edwards were previously members of the band Gallon Drunk. A six-track eponymous EP was released on June 1, 2009 through Sartorial Records. The EP included a cover of Lou Reed's song "Kill Your Sons" and "The Gospel Singer", a song co-written with Kim Gordon during downtime from Sonic Youth.
