Born on the island of St. Croix, Batch became inspired by music at a very early age. With exposure to musical Batchequipment and records he developed an interest in music. As a teen he began playing drums and became exposed to other musical instruments at a church. After completing school, Batch played professional gigs as a drummer first with Danny Tucker, a vintage roots singer out of Jamaica, then moving on as lead vocalist and drummer helping to form the reggae band Motion, along with brothers Eddie 'I-DE' and Reggie 'I-GE' Beazer in the city of Boston. Batch ID is a Swedish EBM/Electro act. The band started in may 2006 with the same line up as today, Johan Berg & Erik Hasselberg. Johan is influenced by New beat, Swedish early punk, EBM & S&M. Erik is influenced by minimal electro, 70 & 80:s electro/industrial & Oldschool EBM. In 2008 the band appeared on the Familientreffen IV festival organized by Electric Tremor. That gig was the first one for the band but hopefully not the last. At the same time there first full length album Testosterone were released. .

Tulivu-Donna Lynn Cumberbatch, daughter of Harold Cumberbatch (the baritone saxophone player), is a jazz singer from Brooklyn, and has been compared to Bessie Smith, Carmen McRae, Sarah Vaughn, Gloria Lynn, Ella Fitzgerald, Nancy Wilson, and Aretha Franklin in terms of her singing ability. Her African name "Tulivu" translates from Swahili loosely to "beautiful," and her English name, "Donna Lynn" is derived from "Donna Lee," the jazz piece made popular by Charlie Parker.
