Animal Alpha war eine 2002 gegründete Rock-Band aus Norwegen. Ihr erstes Werk, die gleichnamige EP, erschien 2004. Das erste komplette Album "Pheromones" ein Jahr später. Das Zweite Album "You Pay for the Whole Seat, but You'll Only Need the Edge" wurde im Januar 2008 in Norwegen veröffentlicht. Besonderheit der Band war der "quirlige" Gesangsstil von Frontfrau Agnete Maria Kjolsrud. .
