Dan Seals, geb. am 8. Feber 1948 in McCamey, Texas, verstorben 25.3.2009, war ein US-amerikanischer Musiker. Seals wurde in eine musikalische Familie hineingeboren, seine Brüder Eddie Seals und Jim Seals sind wie Cousins von ihnen ebenfalls im Musikgeschäft tätig. Mit seinem Schullkollegen und Freund John Ford Coley musizierte Seals zuerst bei der Gruppe Southwest F.O.B.. Nach Auflösung dieser Band, die auch einige Alben herausbrachte, startete Dan Seals 1980 eine Solokarriere. Von 1985 bis 1990 hatte Seals dann 11 Nummer-Eins-Hits, 7 davon in den Country-Charts. .

"U.S.U.R.A." was an Italian electronic dance music group active from 1991 to 1998. They were formed in Italy by Time Records owner Giacomo Maiolini along with producers Walter Cremonini and Alessandro Gilardi. The band itself consisted of members Claudio Varola, Michele Comis and Elisa Spreafichi. Army Navy was born in the bedroom of Justin Kennedy, who in his early days played with Ben Gibbard (Death Cab for Cutie) in the [placformed]Seattle band Pinwheel.
