Third Day ist eine amerikanische Christliche Rockband, welche in den 1990ern in Marietta von dem Frontsänger Mac Powell und Gitarrist Mark Lee gegründet wurde. Die anderen Bandmitglieder sind Tai Anderson (Bass), David Carr (Schlagzeug), Brad Avery (Gitarre) und Scott Wilbanks (Keyboard). Der Name ist eine Anspielung aus der Bibel in der Jesus nach dem 3. Tag (Third Day) nach seiner Kreuzigung vom Tod wieder auferstanden ist. .
1) Third Man was a London, UK-based collaboration between blues singer/actress Dana Gillespie and producer/musician/re-mixer/composer Steve Lima (AKA mashup artist fuTuRo), which yielded three albums: One to One, Inner View and Dream On. The majority of the tracks recorded by Third Man were traditional or modern Hindu bajans (devotional songs), sung in Sanskrit over modern grooves created by Lima. The lyrics for the modern bajans were written by Gillespie, a Hindu devotee. Each album, in addition, included one original track sung in English.

Third World ist eine Jamaikanische Reggae Band die von Soul, Funk und Disco beeinflusst wurde. Gegründet wurde sie 1973.
Den grössten Erfolg konnte Third World in den späten 1970ern und frühen 1980ern feiern. Mit dem Song "Now That We've Found Love", der ursprünglich von den O'Jays performt wurde, erzielte die Band 1979 ihren grössten Hit. Auch bekannt ist der Song "Reggae Ambassador", der in dem Film "Ali G Indahouse" verwendet wird.
Trotz vielen Line Up Änderungen ist die Band auch heute noch auf Tournee.
