The Motifs sind eine Band aus Melbourne, Australien, die 2003 durch Alexis Hall gegründet wurde. Der Rest der Band besteht aus wechselnden Mitgliedern, die meist Musiker von Indie Pop-Bands aus Melbourne sind. Ihre Musik läßt sich den Genres Twee Pop, Dream Pop, Lo-Fi Indie, Indie Pop zuordnen.
