Britta ist eine Berliner Rockband, die Anfang 1997 gegründet wurde. Bandgeschichte Gründungsmitglieder waren die Gitarristin Christiane Rösinger (die zuvor bei Die Lassie Singers gespielt hatte), die Schlagzeugerin Britta Neander (die schon bei Ton Steine Scherben und Rio Reiser gespielt hatte) und die Bassistin Julie Miess. Die Band kann als Nachfolgeprojekt zur Band Lassie Singers gesehen werden. Britta wird vermarktet vom Berliner Plattenlabel Flittchen Records, das von Christiane Rösinger und Almut Klotz geführt wird. Britta Persson is a singer-songwriter originally from Vattholma near Uppsala, now living in Stockholm, Sweden. She made two demo recordings, including the debut 2005 EP Found At Home, before releasing her critically acclaimed full length debut, Top Quality Bones and a Little Terrorist in 2006. The start of 2008 saw the release of her second full length, Kill Hollywood Me, which was followed in 2010 by Current Affair Medium Rare and If I Was A Band My Name Would be Forevers in 2013 http://www.brittapersson.com .

Dean & Britta is a musical duo consisting of Dean Wareham and Britta Phillips, both former members of Luna. Wareham had formed Luna in 1992 after leaving his first band, Galaxie 500. Phillips joined Luna in 2000, replacing bassist Justin Harwood. Their first album started out as a Wareham solo project, but when he heard Phillips' demos, he asked her to join him. 'L'Avventura' was produced by Tony Visconti - and was released on Jetset Records in 2003 under the name 'Britta Phillips & Dean Wareham'.
