Formerly cloaked in mystery, the duo Simon Noble & Rowan Blades, known as Breeder got their start creating peak-time tracks named after famous clubs like "Twilo Thunder" (for Twilo) and "Tyrantanic" (for Tyrant), and giving them directly to superstar DJ's Sasha and John Digweed and no one else. Early years
Crossbreed was formed in 1996 as a four-man band consisting of James Rietz, Chris Nemzek, Charlie Parker & Travis Simpkins. A year later they added keyboardist Jason Troph who left in 1998 to front the Orlando-based band Irrational. He was replaced by Phil "Flip" Marquardt. New Breed first saw the light of day in early 1998, when Kristian Gundersen (vocals and guitar) and Hans Henrik Varland (synth and programming) joined forces to establish what was to become one of the greats among the goth’n’roll acts. Hatebreed ist eine US-amerikanische Metalcore-Band. Die Band, die 1994 um den Frontmann Jamey Jasta (damals noch Roadie der Band Integrity) in New York entstanden ist, spielt harten, metallischen Hardcore Punk der neueren Schule. Nach dem Wechsel vom Hardcore-lastigen Label Victory Records zum Major-Label Universal Music wurde Hatebreed mit Sell-out-Vorwürfen konfrontiert. Nachfolgend änderte sich die Musikrichtung weiter in Richtung Metalcore. Seit 2006 unterstützt Frank „3 Gun“ Novinec als zweiter Gitarrist die Band. Hatebreed-Konzerte sind vor allem in den USA für ihren sehr intensiven Moshpit bekannt, der oft zu Verletzungen führt.

Breed 77 ist eine britische Metal-Band.
Sie wurde 1996 von den Ex-Winter-Of-Torment-Mitgliedern Danny Felice und Stuart Cavilla, Paul Isola und Lawrence Bautista unter dem Namen Breed in London gegründet. Alle Bandmitglieder stammen aus Gibraltar. Seit der Gründung tourten sie auch ohne CD und Plattenlabel unter anderem mit namhaften Bands der Szene, wie Napalm Death und Black Sabbath. Auf Grund von namensrechtlichen Problemen musste die Band sich in Breed 77 umbenennen.
