Celtic Woman ist eine Musikgruppe, die aus sechs irischen Künstlerinnen besteht. Die Gruppe, ursprünglich mit vier, später fünf Sängerinnen und einer Violinistin besetzt, wurde 2004 gegründet. Ihrem ersten großen öffentlichen Auftritt am 15. September 2004 in der ausverkauften Konzerthalle The Helix in Dublin folgten ausgedehnte Tourneen durch Amerika, Asien und Australien. Ihre Veröffentlichungen auf DVD und CD platzierten sich schnell und dauerhaft an der Spitze der internationalen Charts. Das Repertoire von Celtic Woman umfasst sowohl auf die Gruppe arrangierte Stücke keltischer Tradition wie auch aus Musicals und der Pop- und Rockmusik bekannte Titel.

Joan As Police Woman ist das Bandprojekt der Sängerin und Violinistin Joan Wasser (* 26. Juli 1970 in Biddeford, Maine) und lässt sich stilistisch zwischen Indie-Pop und Alternative-Rock einordnen.
Neben ihren früheren Bands The Lotus Eaters und The Dambuilders hat Joan in der Vergangenheit mit Musikern wie Lou Reed, Tanya Donelly, Sheryl Crow, Sparklehorse, Dave Gahan, Elton John, den Scissor Sisters, Joseph Arthur, Rufus Wainwright und Antony and the Johnsons live oder im Studio zusammen gearbeitet.
