Incognito ist eine britische Band, die als wichtiges Mitglied der Acid Jazz-Bewegung angesehen wird. Im Jahr 1981 erschien ihr Debutalbum Jazz Funk auf das noch elf weitere Alben folgten, das neueste Transatlantic R.P.M. erschien 2010. Die Band wurde durch ihre gesamte Geschichte von Komponisten, Produzent, Gitarristen und Sänger Jean-Paul „Bluey“ Maunick geleitet. Andere wichtige Bandmitglieder sind unter anderen Maysa, Carleen Anderson, Jocelyn Brown, Tony Momrelle und Imaani. Von 1991 bis 2001 galten sie als Flaggschiff des englischen Musiklabels Talkin Loud. Seit dem sind sie beim Londoner Soul-Label Dome unter Vertrag. His great musical love relations can be stated as synthesizer sounds, cryptic rhytms and, in another sphere, original 303 sounds. He plaid to date live at WEF Warszawa, at the Klinik Löbau, at Trocken-Klar Audioasyl netcast, at Audiolab Dresden and at a microscope session Dresden Hellerau, mostly with unreleased and especially prepared material. .
