Rupert Holmes (* 24. Februar 1947 in Northwich, Cheshire) ist ein amerikanischer und britischer Komponist, Liedermacher und Autor im Bereich von Schauspiel, Roman und Essay. Weit verbreitet ist sein Hit "Escape" (später "The Piña Colada Song" untertitelt) aus 1979 und sein Tony Award prämiertes Musical The Mystery of Edwin Drood.
