Puddle Of Mudd ist eine amerikanische Post-Grunge-Band. Bandgeschichte Sänger Wes Scantlin wurde in St. Joseph, Missouri geboren und wuchs in Kansas City auf. Er besuchte dort die Park Hill High School und gründete nach dem Schulabschluß Mitte der 1990er die Band Puddle Of Mudd. Nachdem diese ursprüngliche Inkarnation sich auflöste, wurde eine neue Version in Los Angeles durch Scantlin gebildet. Smudge is an Australian indie / country-rock / power-pop band. Its frontman Tom Morgan is more famous outside Australia as a songwriting collaborator of Evan Dando and his band The Lemonheads.
