RedSka is is an Italian ska band formed in 2001 in Romagna. In 2004 following their victory in a band contest called "conKorso" they publish their first official album Mi son sbagliato nel confondermi ("I was mistaken while confusing myself") (Sana Records / Audioglobe), a blend of ska-punk with strong influences of californian ska, mixed with reggae, raggamuffin, swing, blues, hardcore e rocksteady sounds. The Redskins ist eine britische Polit-Soul-Band der 80er Jahre. Die Band bestand aus Chris Dean (Gesang/Gitarre), unter dem Namen X-Moore war er noch als Schreiber für den NME tätig; Nick King (Schlagzeug) und Martin Hewes (Bass/Gesang). Alle drei Bandmitglieder waren linke Skinheads, wobei Chris Dean und Martin Hewes Mitglieder der trotzkistischen Socialist Workers Party um Tony Cliff waren. Active since 2006, Endometrium cuntplow is the experimental noise project of David Lucien Matheke (Cephalopods, Outer 7th, Internal Improv, Queef Richards, Catlady, CESSATION, DDDD, etc). David was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but has lived in and around Los Angeles California since the age of 9. Influenced by plants and animals, disease and recovery, endometrium cuntplow's sound has been known to range from Noise to Industrial to Ambient to Psychedelic.
