Paranoia (Punkband, DDR) Paranoia wurde 1983 in Dresden gegründet, lange vor der Ära der sogenannten „anderen Bands“. Die kurze, aber turbulente Bandhistorie beinhaltet u. a. Konzerte bei legendären Punktreffen, einen Auftritt in Budapest, ein Demotape, das Aufmerksamkeit auch im westlichen Ausland erregte, Ordnungsstrafen wegen Auftretens ohne Spielerlaubnis und einen operativen Vorgang der Stasi, der 1985 zur Inhaftierung zweier Bandmitglieder und damit zur „Zerschlagung der illegalen Punkkapelle Paranoia“ führte.
