As the lead singer and co-songwriter of Highwater Rising, Aidan has written songs that have been featured in several feature films as well as virtually every major hit TV show including: THE OC, SEX and the CITY, NORTH SHORE, BOSTON PUBLIC, LAGUNA BEACH and ONE TREE HILL. The band's second album, The In Between, was co-produced by multi-platinum producer Eric Valentine (Smash Mouth, Queens of the Stone Age, Persephone's Bees). Gaida grew up in Damascus, Syria and later studied classical vocal performance at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Her voice is pristine; clear and round, it resonates from within her nasal cavity – a convention that no doubt stems from Middle Eastern musical tradition, as it is not encouraged in European classical training. Her timbre is not unlike that of a string instrument, allowing her to attain expressive qualities normally out of reach for vocalists. She delivers melodies in an intimate recitative, using Arabic scales (maqams) ornamented heavily with mordents and appoggiaturas. Her singing is emphasized by subtle theatrics...

Betzaida (born March 16, 1981) is an American singer of Latin pop music. Born in Chicago, Illinois, to Puerto Rican and Mexican parents, Betzaida released her debut self-titled album in 2004 on Fonovisa Records.[1] She first gained fame through her song "La Copa Será Tuya Al Final" which aired on Univision to promote Copa América 2004. Her song "No Te Quiero Olvidar" was nominated for "Latin Dance Club Play Track Of The Year" at the 2006 Latin Billboard Music Awards. In 2007, Betzaida released her second album, titled Te Quiero Así .
