Eric Marienthal (* 19. Dezember 1957 in Sacramento, Kalifornien) ist ein US-amerikanischer Saxophonist. Nach seinem Schulabschluss 1976 ging er zum Berklee College of Music in Boston, wo er von Joe Viola unterrichtet wurde. Das College verließ er fünf Jahre später mit einer der höchsten Auszeichnungen, dem Berklee Distinguished Alumni Award for outstanding achievments in contemporary music. 1980 ging er nach Los Angeles. Dort kam er bei einer Disneylandband unter, tingelte aber nebenbei in Clubs herum. Dabei wurde er von Chick Corea entdeckt, der ihn für seine Electric Band verpflichtete. Sechs Alben produzierte er mit Corea und sie gewannen zwei Grammys....

Marietta Fafouti was already 15 when she first laid her fingers on the piano. That first encounter was for her “love at first touch” and at the same time a big revelation as she found out that when she let her hands free on the piano, she could play every melody she had in mind. It was then that she began to write music. After this experience, her life changed radically. Years of studies and creative maturation followed and soon resulted to a valuable “crop”.
