Electronic music was a discovery and abandonment of inhibitions. Carola was born in Rome and at the tender age of eight transported to Naples, Italy with mom and dad. Marco Carola wurde am 07.02.75 in Neapel geboren. Aufgewachsen im neapolitanischen Sonnenschein hatte er seine erste Drum-Maschine schon lange bevor er anfing Platten aufzulegen. Erst 1990, als die italienische House- und Acid-House-Szene auf ihrem Höhepunkt war, ersetzte er sein Drumkit durch 2 Plattenspieler und fing an das Mixen zu üben. Sein Übergang in Richtung Techno begann ca. 1993 mit Freunden wie "Gaetano Parisio", "David Squillace", "Random Noize" und anderen neapolitanischen Clubbern und DJs zusammen.
