Lovecraftian Death Metal

PHILOSOPHER (Germany) were formed in Winter 2002 in order to deliver technical,
yet accessible “oldschool” Death Metal. Influenced by such classical heroes of
the genre such as Morbid Angel and Death, the band wasted little time to join
live action soon after the first songs were written.

Philosopher machen atmosphärischen Death Metal, inspiriert durch die Werke
des Schriftstellers H.P. Lovecraft (1890-1937). Musikalische Einflüsse wie
Death, Nile oder Morbid Angel sind hörbar, doch erschliessen PHILOSOPHER
ein völlig neues musikalisches und spirituelles Konzept. .
