A labourer, a model, a pro wake-boarder and a politics student. Perhaps not the most obvious collective of people that you'd expect to create one of the finest British rock bands to immerge in recent times, but then again, Outcry Collective are no ordinary band.

Outcry Collective are:
Steve Sitkowski - vocals : Chris Phelps - guitar : Rob Pryor - bass : Jack Wayne - drums

After growing up and meeting at schools in the Surrey area, the band came into fruition through a mutual admiration of everything that is good about rock music - utilising the intensity, heaviness and positivity of the music to act as their blueprint; a blueprint which still holds true to this day.

"Tight, riff-laden Southern (American)-tinged hardcore. worth keeping an ear out for"
Kerrang!
Building on a healthy appreciation of The Bronx, Refused, Rage Against The Machine and Motorhead, Outcry Collective's own brand of fast, energetic punk 'n' fuckin' roll quickly began to shine through while writing and practising in a barn in Pyrford, Surrey - the same barn that Pink Floyd originally formed in no less.

An intensive two week period last summer saw the first tunes written, rehearsed and then unleashed via gigs in their local area. The band rapidly built up a passionate and loyal regional fanbase courtesy of their explosive live shows - a unique mix of positivity fuelled rock chaos coupled with an undoubted charm.

"Belting hard rock. as if Every Time I Die had walked into Deep Purple's rehearsal room and started playing their instruments."
Metal Hammer

With word spreading fast, it wasn't long before Dan P. Carter played Outcry Collective on his BBC Radio 1 Rock Show and that was followed up recently with Kerrang! Radio awarding them the "Unsigned Band of The Week" mantle. They're also included on the forthcoming Hassle Records hardcore compilation featuring current punk rock luminaries Gallows, Cancer Bats, Fucked Up and The Ghost of a Thousand to name but a few.

Outcry Collective have taken their ferocious good time rock and roll out on the road, sharing stages with some of the best up and coming underground talent the UK has to offer, such as Meet Me In St Louis and Flood Of Red, as well as New York legends From Autumn To Ashes. Future tour dates are already lined up alongside the likes of Down I Go, This City, Young Guns and Attack! Vipers!, with many more to come.
