There are at least 2 bands called Wasted Talent:

1. An early to mid 80s punk hardcore band from State College, PA. The band released a demo cassette called "Self Rule" and had a few songs from that cassette featured on the 2xLP comp called "The Master Tape Vol. 2" on Affirmation records and French cassette comp called "1984 the Tape!".

2. The trio Wasted Talent residing in Roettingen, Wuerzburg County, Lower Franconia, Germany was founded in August 2003. The band stands for fast, energetic punk rock mixed with elements of pop, emo and rock'n'roll.
Since that date the three guys jump from stage to stage to prove that provincial boys do not lack anything city kids posses.
Fact is that they already have a firm slot in the German punk scene and that they are a favorite choice as a support for well known bands.
Even though the band is 2 years old and the fact that all members turned 18 years of age, you will not detect any symptoms of weariness. The passion for their own music is newly aroused every time they rehearse.
With their debut album published in the spring of 2005 "The best songs you've never heard" in their luggage and their motivation to rock every possible stage, Wasted Talent are eager as never before.
Many times, their performance has been compared with bands like Face to Face, The Ataris and No Use For A Name.
