1. A Japanese band featuring Gyu Gyu Disgusteen of DiSGUSTEENS. They are heavily influenced by the Ramones.

2.Formed in March 2004 near the city of Prato, Italy, The Headbangers went through some line-up changes until May 2005. The band is now formed by Johnny (voice and guitar), Simon (guitar), Bilea (bass guitar) and J.B. (drums), while their frontman Cisvo (famous rocker from Prato, also a member of the "Sexy Drive" and "Modern Gloves" bands) joined a while later.

Their music went through some changes as well in the last three years: they started from old-school '77 punk -- documented in their October 2004 demo covering mostly Ramones and Sex Pistols -- and eventually settled on a style based on Ramones' music but exhibiting strong influences from Stooges' and New York Dolls' pre-punk, Rolling Stones-style rock, Motorhead-style hard rock as well as garage influences; a synthesis of different styles sharing the same roots.

March 2006 saw the release of their first official self-produced EP, titled "Broken Shoes & Leather Jackets", containing mostly original songs by The Headbangers. The EP has been met with positive feedback; 200 copies of it have been distributed, some reviews praised it and it's been broadcast on local radio (RadioGas, Radio Insieme, Antenna Toscana 1 and Radio Diffusione Pistoia). The frequency of their live concerts has increased significantly, more than 20 in one year on several prominent stages in Prato and nearby.

The Headbangers will record a second EP shortly, containing 4 new songs and 2 covers. .
