The punk-power pop band The Flipsides formed in late 1999, they were from the San Fransisco Bay-Area, and released an EP and appeared on several compilations for Fat Wreck, and Pink and Black, which released their debut CD "Clever One" on July 30th 2002, but disbanded some time after going through one line up change, initially the trio comprised of Sabrina Stewart (lead vocals) Mark Bradin (back up vocals and bass) and Jim Lindsey (drums), Sabrina Stewart created the band on Christmas Eve in 1999 in a club in San Fransisco, after a electrifying set fans demanded more from the trio which conceived an EP comprised of 5 songs in 2000, a year of touring lead to a opportunity with Pink and Black Records (An imprint of Fat Wreck), to release their only full length and debut album, which consisted of 12 songs, notable songs on the album were "Two Weeks", and "So Disgusted" which appeared on indie compilations and free promo CD's. The album generated many positive local reviews and website reviews. IN support of the album The Flipsides Toured with with the likes of Rise Against, The Real McKenzie's, The Mad Caddies, Fabulous Disaster, Alkaline Trio, and Hot Water Music to name a few. After Mark and Jim left the band in 2004 Colin(Bass) and Willie(Drums) joined the band and toured a bit before the band called it quits. Sabrina Stewart embarked on a solo career soon after releasing a EP of 5 songs titled "The Smoking Gun EP" on July 15th 2005, which notably featured Mike Dirnt of Green Day on bass. .
