SpongeBOZZ (aka. SpongeBozz Gunshot) is a German battle rapper who first became known for winning the JBB (Juliens Blog Battle) in 2013.

While his real identity remains unknown, many speculations arose across the internet. Most people are claiming that SpongeBOZZ is in fact Sun Diego, while others have claimed that it is none other than Germany's superstar Kollegah. Latter seems to be the more realistic guess, when keeping in mind that SpongeBOZZ repeatedly says in his tracks that he is not Sun Diego and his style and some rhymes are very close to Kollegah's. Also his "sidekick" Partick Bang who is believed to be Farid Bang who has recently recorded a collaboration album with Kollegah.

While a lot of fans are engaging in speculation, there is a strong fan base supporting the artist's wish for anonymity.

After his success in winning the JBB and defeating last years king 4tune Spongebozz went on to release more free tracks for his fans including "King of Kings", "Halloween", and more to come. On his facebook page the artist claims to be working on an EP called "Planktonweed" and that he will be releasing the next free track when reaching 300'000 likes.
