There are at least 3 different artists named Rituals.
1) Rituals hails from the dry, washed out deserts of Phoenix, Arizona featuring current members of Hella Mounds. This project is a much more darker and more doomy incarnation than HM, but stills holds on to some of the more atmospheric/traits of their other musical underpinnings. Highly recommended for fans of Fall of Efrafa, Cult of Luna, Year of No Light, Rosetta, Amenra and Callisto.
Even though Rituals have only been around a short time, they have already began to build momentum. They've played shows with the likes of Agalloch, Thou, Mournful Congregation The Body, The Atlas Moth, Aldebaran, Whitehorse, YOB, Dark Castle, as well as Alpinist and Masakari.

The band's first self-titled lp was released on Alerta Antifascista Records in Europe and Replenish Records in the U.S. on March 20th, 2012. U.S. release on Replenish Records A split lp was released with Dezafra Ridge on Alerta Antifascista Records in the summer of 2012.
The second band "Rituals", is the vile creation of two best friends or worst enemies. Straight forward vengeful black metal from the South West corner of doomed America. A very limited demo tape was released only to a tight circle of worshipers.
The 3rd band "Rituals" is based out of the 808 in Tacoma for much of 08-09released Color Tape 1-5 , this band is currently defunct.
