Larry Lush and Wilf Frost are the dynamic duo that make up the ironically named outfit, Quietman. Futuristic, uplifting and contemporary Trance producers, their adorable anthems, fat bass lines and majestic chord changes will get you rocking.
Quietman had a less than tranquil arrival on the Trance scene in 1994. Lulled into a false sense of security by their melodic and peaceful intros, you are knocked off your chair when the mellowness ends and the musical madness starts. The chair itself melts into something Dali would be proud of, as twisted psychedelic beats overcome your mind, body and soul.
The launch of their first single, Plastic Gourd, gave them the platform on which to build a solid reputation, followed in 1997, by the Top 50 hit Now And Zen. Their reputation was confirmed in 1998, when they worked with the renowned Man With No Name on their Trance monster, The Sleeper.
Although many of their single releases have been deleted on CD some are still available on vinyl. All their single A sides can be found on their 1998 LP, Shhh, along with a number of otherwise unreleased, but equally journey inducing, tunes.
More recently Quietman have been remixing like itβs going out of fashion and concentrating on their live audiovisual stage show, which has been getting feet moving and eyes popping the world over. .
