Neonman is Bastian Asdonk and Ben Osborn. Bastian played guitar in several rockbands before het got into Hip Hop in the late Eighties. He released an album with his Band R.I.D. and than started producing housemusic. He released four 12” using the moniker Bleach. Ben has been part of London´s electronic music scene since the early nineties. He deejayed in and around Londons Techno parties between 1993–99 and was always to be found hanging in Fat Cat Records.
Bastian & Ben met in Berlin in the year 2000 and decided that all cool music at the time sucked. So they started Neonman and released their first two 12” on Northern Lites Label 1st Decade Records. “Bundesnachrichtendienst” is a hommage to the woman that protects the German foreign minister and a banging electro tune. “Future is Pussy” is a feminist anthem with a very succesful Northern Lite Remix. The third 12” “Supermodel Terrorist” was released on Lasergun Records with a remix by Lasse Lovelace and two new tracks on the b-side. The fourth release “All Weak“ is
also on 1st Decade Records, with another fine remix by Lasse Lovelace from Lasergun records. "All weak" looks at how people are willing to turn the away from tragedy infavour of entertainment.

Their first album is called “Gift Of The Gab” and features 3 very special extra remixes from Warren Suicide, Shapemod & The Scandals. I have heard rumours that there will be a special limited vinyl release of these remixes that will include a John Taylor / Punx Soundcheck remix of our first song on the album 'Bombs In The Backdrop' .
