Heal is an alternative rock band from Leiden, The Netherlands. The band consists of Emile Groenewegen on lead vocals, Manfred Groenewegen and Martijn Laman on guitar, Paul van den Heuvel on backing vocals and bass guitar, and Ronald Vos on backing vocals and drums.
The band was started by two brothers and in 2004 Heal released their first album ''Nothing we see is real". In 2008 they released their second album "Baby, this is rock and roll". After recording their second album there were a few changes in band members. Ronald and Paul entered and in 2009 Martijn, as a second guitar player joined the band. In this new formation arose a new and solid sound. .
