Foamy Ed are an Auckland all-girl punk band who have received impressive reviews & recognition since forming in 1996.
Foamy Ed have toured both the North and South Island relentlessly, playing with a wide variety of bands at a number of various venues.
Foamy Ed have opened at the Big Day Out twice, and performed with Blink 182, Pennywise, The Vandals, Five Iron Frenzy, 28 Days, The 5,6,7,8's, Plain Sunset, HLAH, The Feelers, Fur Patrol, Sommerset, Kitsch, Tadpole and many more.
On TV2's Space Foamy Ed took out the first round of Launchpad, a competition for bands. The prize was a $10,000 video contract, giving them the chance to making a music video of a single of their choice. The result was a video for 'Overload'.
