2) 4D : Set up in 1997 by James Monro and Grant Collins to delve deeper into the realms of underground techno and minimal techno, 4D was created to take dancefloor soundscapes to a new level. With their joint understanding of the dancefloor and desire to go even further with production techniques, Grant and James have developed a sound that is impossible to categorise. Hypnotic, deep, driving, subtle yet always musical, are some of the distinctions made. Their main aim is to always take the listener on a journey deep inside of the machine and to push the boundries of what constitutes electronic music and the listening experience.

3) 4D is also a 28 year old drum and bass producer hailing from the home of the genre, the uk. he has been producing drum and bass for 6 years now since studying music in 2002. this is where he met the other two members of the coldfreeks, I.C. and Nifty. All three producers have enjoyed certain exposure with their music, all three individually winning radio 1 xtra's online cutting room competition, 4D and I.C. also having tracks reviewed in Knowledge magazine and, most recently 4D enjoying massive exposure, having the track magma played on the multi award winning hospital podcast. they have an indepent label on beatsdigital, Coldfreeks records, alongside 4D's 4D records. most recently Nifty enjoyed a release on Darkestral records, and all three have now been signed to promising french d&b label, Rafale records. They are some of the uk drum and bass scenes most exiting new prospects bubbling under the surface. knowledge magazine said 4D is "a breath of fresh air to the scene". check it!!!!!


4) An 80s synth/NDW band from Germany. The band was a project of Franz Aumüller and Dieter Kolb from Wunderwerke. They did not use any real instruments, the music was completely sampled with their Drumcomputer exept for the vocals.
